Shadow business secretary to speak at Invest North dinner

Shadow business secretary Jonathan Reynolds will be one of the keynote speakers at the Invest North 2022 dinner next month.

The Invest North conference is focused on the opportunities for the region as the economy emerges from the pandemic. Reynolds, who has been a Greater Manchester MP since 2010, was recently appointed as shadow business secretary. He has previously held several economic shadow roles, including four years as a shadow economic secretary to the Treasury, as well as being the policy lead for energy and climate change, rail, and work and pensions.

Collette Roche, chief operating officer at Manchester United, Manchester Central chief executive Shaun Hinds and Aneel Mussarat founder of MCR property group, will also be sharing their insight with attendees at the Invest North dinner in Manchester on 3 March.

Taking place at Radisson Edwardian, the in person event will see conversations continue from the virtual Invest North conference. Attendees will swap pixels for plates as business leaders, policy makers and thought leaders consider how rhetoric can become realised economic growth for the north.
