Entrepreneurs invited to join ‘intense’ accelerator programme
A business accelerator programme has opened for a fresh round of applications.
Transform SY is ready to receive applications for its second cohort, giving 20 South Yorkshire business founders the opportunity to take part.
The Transform SY programme is an intense one-to-one accelerator that aims to challenge entrepreneurs and unleash their innovative leadership and growth potential.
It includes:
Transform SY Events – bi-weekly workshops with practical knowledge entrepreneurs can apply to their businesses immediately.
Transform SY Community – connect with 18 entrepreneurs from Cohort one and 40 more between Cohort two and Cohort three and use their expertise and connections.
Transform SY Enablement – bi-weekly one-to-one meetings with an enabler who can help set ambitious goals and remove obstacles to success.
Powered by Entrepreneurial Spark, a specialist in the entrepreneur support industry, the programme is currently delivering its first cohort, consisting of 18 leaders from South Yorkshire. People are eligible to apply for Transform SY if they are:
- A founder of a business enabled by tech,
- Based in South Yorkshire,
- Their annual revenue is less than £1m.
Applications will be open until 17 June and are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Transform SY is part of TEAM SY a joint initiative between Capital Enterprise, experts in tech startup ecosystems, and Barnsley Council. It is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
