Property people: Conroy Brook and GV&Co
Yorkshire house builder and developer, Conroy Brook, has appointed a new construction director.
A well known industry figure within the Yorkshire region, Jason Lock joins the company after many years of experience within the construction industry.
A joiner by trade, Lock was an assistant site manager, site manager, construction manager and then construction director with South Yorkshire company Ben Bailey plc, now part of the Conroy Brook group.
He was more recently site manager, building manager and then operations director with Gleeson.
CEO Richard Conroy said: “Jason is an extremely well known figure in the industry and we are happy to be able to welcome him Conroy Brook.
“He will be responsible for our construction operations going forward at a time when we are looking to grow the business by increasing our volume but maintaining our reputation for great quality homes for our customers.”

12 months after Leeds property consultancy GV&Co launched its specialist lease advisory and asset management division, the company has appointed Tom Preene as an associate director.
He has spent the last six years at Cushman & Wakefield and specialises in rent reviews, lease renewals, expert witness reports, lease restructures, brokerage and estates strategies.
He acts on behalf of both landlords and tenants, predominantly in the industrial and office sectors, as well as advising on retail space.
Preene’s appointment follows Niall Mackinnon joining GV&Co 12 months ago to spearhead the company’s new lease advisory and asset management division.
