Leeds city centre site with resi planning permission up for grabs

A site in Leeds city centre with planning permission for 110 residential units has been brought to the market.

Additionally, planning has been submitted for an amended 125 residential unit scheme with ground floor commercial space.

16 – 18 Manor Road is a brownfield site which currently lies vacant, with an area of approximately 0.24 acres.

The site’s previous use was industrial, with the most recent occupant being a building materials supplier.

The site is being sold on behalf of James Liddiment and Paul Greenhalgh, both of Kroll Advisory, acting as LPA Receivers.

Offers are invited in excess of £2.25m to be submitted by 22 November.

James Wilson, partner, residential transactional and living markets at property consultancy Allsop, said: “This site is among the best pieces of land currently available in the city, thanks to its central location and proximity to the train station. Situated within the new Temple neighbourhood, a part of the Southbank regeneration scheme, the site offers developers the opportunity to make a positive impact by developing much needed housing on brownfield land.

“The shortage of housing in Leeds is a well-documented phenomenon, and given it’s currently the fastest growing city in the UK, this site presents an attractive development opportunity with a potential for strong returns.”
