Safety training centre launched at business park

Total Safety UK has opened an industrial safety training centre at Capitol Business Park, Dodworth, Barnsley.

The training site has provision for businesses looking to train their teams on a range of safety course disciplines such as Confined Spaces, Working At Heights, Face Fit Testing, Breathing Apparatus and General Health & Safety.

The 8,500 sq ft facility features state-of-the-art equipment to provide learners with real life simulation scenarios.

Courses are delivered by a team with operational experience in key industries and are targeted at a variety of markets including utilities, rail, fabrication, waste to energy plants, manufacturing, construction and industrial cleaning

Total Safety UK is part of the Total Safety Group, which operates in over 140 countries.

Andy Cull, general manager for Total Safety UK, said: “We are thrilled to open our new training centre in Barnsley. The centre is a welcome addition to our existing sites in Aberdeen and Grangemouth.

“Our team and quality of training are second to none. We have some of the best training facilities and trainers in the UK. We are planning a busy 2023 with weekly Confined Spaces and Working At Height courses.”
