Rising demand prompts workspace provider to double its footprint

Flexible workspace provider, Wizu Workspace, has expanded its presence in Sheffield by taking on two extra floors at 32 Eyre Street, comprising around 12,000 sq ft.
The space will include a purpose-built event facility for up to 70 people, a 14-person meeting room, available for hire by existing members and for external companies, plus a range of private offices.
The move comes as Wizu prepares to double in size over the next three years.
Tom Almas, co-founder and managing director, said: “We’re thrilled to be growing our community in Sheffield, which has a thriving technology, creative and freelance scene.
“Cities such as Sheffield are fantastic alternatives to London for ambitious, fast-growing businesses. While the cost of living is lower, the talent is every bit as good – and the transport links are arguably better.
“More and more businesses are discovering the benefits of flexible workspace, with no long-term commitment and full support.
“We have had a fantastic year so far and are excited about the prospects for 2023. We believe this is an excellent opportunity for us to expand our offering and help more companies boost their productivity by taking advantage of our flexible working solutions.”
