Insurance industry veteran launches new brokerage company

Prosura, a business and lifestyle insurance broker, has launched in Wakefield.

It has been founded by entrepreneur Jon Newall, a third-generation insurance broker who has worked within the industry for more than 25 years.

Prosura will support clients throughout the UK and has set ambitious targets to achieve a turnover of £10m within five years.

Newall said: “Our ethos is simple, we want to deliver exceptional service and add value at every step of the customer journey, which seems to be lacking within our industry today.

“Brokers already have the tools to be more attentive and provide better advice and support, but we are not seeing this happen. We want to change this.”

Newall, who sold his previous brokerage in 2018, added: “The reception we have received has been exceptional, which makes this a really exciting time for our business and team.”
