Latest investment set to create engineering and training centre

Access Hire Nationwide, a lease and hire provider of cherry picker vehicles, is ready to open a new 20,000 sq ft facility in West Yorkshire.

It will launch shortly in the Wakefield area and is part of the group’s ongoing investment in infrastructure and people to support its next phase of growth.

The facility will be a centre of excellence, training customers and staff to use the group’s equipment safely. Access Hire has begun recruiting engineers to staff the centre.

The business currently has a 1,500-strong fleet and supports partners in long-term infrastructure sectors such as telecoms, power, security, local authorities, and facilities management.

Access Hire is part of the Kelling Group, which has its head office based in Normanton, and employs over 200 people.

Stephen Moore, Kelling Group CEO, said: “We’re looking for enthusiastic people in a variety of roles who would like to be part of a growing, dynamic business.

“Our people deliver the exceptional service for which we’re known, so continuing to invest in our team is of the utmost importance.

“We support our people by offering full training, including fully supported apprenticeships, as well as providing a comprehensive package of attractive employee benefits.”
