Yorkshire Business of the Year: spotlight on sustainable businesses
The need to operate businesses in a sustainable fashion has never been more important than it is today.
Large and small enterprises from all sectors now take their sustainability responsibilities extremely seriously, with more companies intensely focused on how they can support the “circular economy” and bin the wasteful practices of the past.
We are now taking entries from the region’s entrepreneurs and new businesses for our 2024 Yorkshire Business of the Year awards. You can find the entry forms here.
This year the awards are being supported by headline sponsors CMS, LDC, RBC Brewin Dolphin and Verlingue. Category sponsors include Gillbanks.
The Sustainability Award will reward a business which demonstrates its ability to reduce its impact on the environment, whether through a product or service that supports the endeavours of others, or a strategic change or investment that has made a significant positive difference.
Last year’s winner was The Bio-D Company, a Hull-based green cleaning firm which offers sustainable and environmentally friendly cleaning solutions.
CorrBoard UK, Daval Furniture, Melrose Interiors, Moda Living and Tunley Engineering were shortlisted.
So if you’re a business in Yorkshire and the Humber, which has a sustainability success story, get your entry to us by 7 July.
