Completion nears on hundreds more city build-to-rent apartments

Hundreds of new rental apartments, across three buildings, are set to be launched in Leeds.

A total of 438 apartments are currently available within the three developments, where work is due to be finished this summer.

All the developments are owned, operated and managed by Leeds-headquartered property company, YPP. A further 75 homes will be made available in the coming months, as work approaches completion.

The properties include 133 studios and one bedroom apartments at Q Three Residence, on Westgate, close to both Leeds Town Hall and the city’s financial district.

In addition, 168 apartments, known as Live Oasis Merrion Street Gardens, are being developed in the city’s Arena Quarter. The scheme will offer a range of homes from studios to three-bedroom penthouse apartments.

Both developments are targeted at young professionals and students.

Another scheme in the Arena Quarter is Live Oasis St Albans Place. The 20-storey tower on Wade Lane is being built specifically for the city’s student market and consists of 212 apartments, as well as an eighth storey residents’ roof terrace.

All 513 apartments are furnished with their own kitchens, en-suite bathrooms and living areas. The three developments also offer concierge services, resident lounges, gyms, private dining facilities and work or study spaces.

A spokesman for YPP said: “All these developments have their own unique personalities and styles and are fast approaching completion, meaning they will be ready to move into by September.

“This is one of the biggest apartment releases that Leeds has ever seen, but the strong number of signings that we’ve already agreed demonstrates the steadfast level of demand in the market for exceptional rental homes.

“Both our Live Oasis and Q brands are proven concepts and we’re now looking forward to expanding both brands further.

“We’re already working on another four developments in Leeds city centre, which will launch in 2024, as well as exploring opportunities in the Midlands, which we look forward to unveiling soon.”
