Yorkshire Business of the Year: shine a light on investment success stories

Well targeted investments can make all the difference to an enterprise teetering between success and failure.
Many companies in our region have endured what is likely to be the toughest and most turbulent three years in their existence and, for some of them, a timely investment may have rescued them from oblivion.
We are now taking entries from the region’s entrepreneurs and new businesses for our 2024 Yorkshire Business of the Year awards. You can find the entry forms here.
This year the awards are being supported by headline sponsors CMS, LDC, RBC Brewin Dolphin and Verlingue. Category sponsors include Gillbanks.
The Investment Award will recognise a significant commitment made by a business in the region.
The shortlisted companies can either be new to the region or already here, but they will all be able to show a real commitment in terms of investing in facilities, people or products that will have a long-term benefit.
Last year’s winner was Sheffield Forgemasters, which secured a landmark deal with the Government to release £400m to invest in the site and the company.
CorrBoard UK, GNG Group, PFF Packaging Group and Propack Direct Mail were shortlisted.
If you’re a business in Yorkshire and the Humber, which has made a special investment contribution, please submit your entry to us by 7 July.
