Bar and grill to relaunch this summer following major makeover

A £2m revamp to the interior, terrace, and kitchen at Restaurant, Bar and Grill (RBG) in Leeds city centre, will see the venue completely transformed.
The venue in City Square, based in the Old Post Office building outside the central railway station, will re-open this summer.
Its upgrades will feature a grand new entrance, as well as impressive marble floors, deep walnut panelling, olive green leather banquettes, and a feature bar area. The al fresco dining and drinking areas are also being improved.
The relaunched RBG is being designed to provide an more impressive setting for diners to enjoy brunch, lunch and dinner, as well as being the perfect space to host private events. And living up to its name, Restaurant Bar & Grill is installing a Southbend Steakhouse Grill.
Weekend dining at the venue is being updated. Each weekend will see RBG add a touch of theatre to people’s evening with DJs, live entertainment and more. Sunday’s will feature exclusive performances from a gospel choir.
Andrew Garton, CEO, said: “Restaurant Bar & Grill has long been a Leeds institution. But this renovation takes us up another level.
“We’re so excited for customers new and old to come in and experience the jaw-dropping transformation the venue’s undergone, and to carry on serving our stalwart Leeds clientele as we always have – but with an even bigger, and better, luxurious offering.”
