Yorkshire Business of the Year Awards: seeking great employers

Our Yorkshire Business of the Year Awards aims to recognise those companies that show they care about their employee experience.
The Employer of the Year award, sponsored by Verlingue, recognises the private or public sector organisation that excels for its workforce. This can be demonstrated through investment in skills and training, innovations around flexible working, workplace wellbeing initiatives, support for groups and individuals.
Last year’s winners, The Data Shed, maintained clear, formal values through growth, with strong development and wellbeing support. Shortlisted companies were Banwait Group Holdings, FDS Director Services, Harworth Group and Premier Modular.
