Digital agency, Perfect Storm, has appointed four new members to its team to help the firm deliver on its plans for growth, following a significant number of new business wins.

To help manage the growing demand for its digital marketing services, the Leeds-based agency has appointed experienced talent manager Gen Larkin to the team.

Her brief is to help the agency further develop its network of partners, maximising the talent available to ensure the continuation of exceptional service to clients as the agency grows.

Larkin previously headed global recruitment at Search Laboratory and has worked in the digital marketing sector for seven years.

Also joining the Perfect Storm team is Joe Metcalfe, taking up the role of strategic client partner.

He joins from IMA Home, where he was head of PR, social and content strategy.

His role will see him developing Perfect Storm’s strategic offering as client’s increasingly look to the agency for more top level support, as well as developing its offering in the digital PR, social and influencer space.

Charlotte Smith has taken up the role of digital producer, also arriving from IMA Home where she was senior delivery manager working on accounts such as Jet2.com, British Land, Orchard Pig, Magners and Virgin Media.

In her new role she will be managing a number of key accounts, using her fully integrated experience, particularly in creative and production.

Finally, Sophie Emms is joining as a new graduate, after achieving a first-class degree in marketing management from Lancaster University.

Perfect Storm was founded as a challenger agency in 2016 by Adam Errington and Dave Nutter.

Errington said: “These important appointments are a sign of our growth as an agency as we move to the next stage of our development.

“Our core team is growing and evolving as we maintain our model of bringing in expert partners from our network to help deliver projects.

“Clients continue to see the benefit as they always work with tailored and experienced teams, while getting a better return on investment.”

Larkin added: “Perfect Storm caught my eye because of its unique model.

“The ‘standard’ way in which most agencies operate is no longer fully meeting the needs of either clients’ or talent.

“As the team grows I want to focus on making processes as polished as possible for both employees and the freelancers we work with.

“It’s important to ensure the best talent is always on our radar and that they can see the clear benefits of working with the Perfect Storm team.”
