Hospitality group expands with Portuguese restaurant opening
Yorkshire-based hospitality business Dabangg Group has confirmed it is opening a new Portuguese restaurant.
Casa Peri Peri is taking up a unit at Beverley’s Flemingate centre as the restaurant expands from its original roots in Wakefield.
It will be the second restaurant at Flemingate owned by The Dabangg Group, which already operates the Brazilian grill house Estábulo in Beverley.
The latest restaurant will create 20 jobs, joining a host of other dining options at Flemingate.
Flemingate is owned and operated by Hull-based property development and management business Wykeland Group.
Zac Issak, owner of The Dabangg Group, said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing our most popular Portuguese flavours to Beverley and can’t wait to open our doors to customers.
“Through our sister restaurant, Estábulo, we’ve been at the heart of Flemingate’s food scene for many years now and have seen the centre expand its offering of high-quality venues.
“We’re sure visitors to Casa Peri Peri will love our dishes, which are perfect for families and a broad range of diners.”
The Dabangg Group also operates the original Casa Peri Peri in Wakefield; Japanese/Brazilian tapas restaurant SakkuSamba; British brasserie Fléur Restaurant; and IKARO, a high-end restaurant and late night bar which will open soon in Manchester.
Casa Peri Peri’s signature dishes include pulled beef burgers, a peri peri mixed grill platter and rice bowls with peri peri toppings.
Desserts range from an Oreo cheesecake and hot fudge brownie sizzler to classics including sticky toffee pudding and ice cream.
