Merchandise producer to open its first UK retail store

Property developer and car parking operator, Town Centre Securities PLC (TCS) has revealed the latest brand to join its Vicar Lane scheme in Leeds.

Abysse Corp, a manufacturer of officially licensed merchandise relating to manga, movies, series, gaming, comics and music, will open the doors to its new store on November 18 2023. It will be the company’s first retail presence in the United Kingdom.

The ABYstyle Full Stuff store will offer a range of products for enthusiasts and collectors, including figurines, posters, frames, key-rings, mugs and more, with a focus on officially licensed merchandise.

In 2021, the Abysse Corp Group acquired GB Eye LTD, which is based in Sheffield, giving the company a strong presence with offices, warehouses, and production facilities in the area.

ABY Style also serves the UK through business-to-business channels, further cementing its footprint in the country.

The business says its decision to open the new Leeds store was influenced by a desire to be closer to its headquarters in Sheffield while capitalising on the vibrancy of Leeds city centre.

Charlotte Beaufils, from Abysse Corp, said: “We are excited to bring the world of officially licensed merchandise closer to our UK fans.

“This store represents our commitment to delivering the best products to our customers and we can’t wait to see the vibrant Leeds community embrace it.”

Charles Newman, associate director, estates for Town Centre Securities PLC, said: “Leeds is a dynamic city that continually attracts innovative and exciting businesses.

“We are thrilled to have the first UK ABYstyle Full Stuff store join our list of esteemed tenants at Vicar Lane which exemplifies our dedication to providing exceptional spaces that meet the needs and expectations of both businesses and the community.

“We look forward to witnessing the positive impact this addition will have on Vicar Lane and the city of Leeds and are confident this new outlet will resonate with the vibrant community of fans and collectors.”
