Flexible workspace provider signs up for its second location in Yorkshire

Tileyard North has revealed its latest alliance with Leeds-based flexible space provider 2-Work, to provide co-working and office space within its Wakefield development.
The initial first phase of the partnership, set to be operational by this month, will see 2-Work create a combined space to include co-working, dedicated hot desking and private office suites ranging from 200 sq ft to 800 plus sq ft.
This will be supported by the offering of rentable meeting rooms and soundproofed podcast studios and content spaces already housed within the Tileyard North site.
A second phase of space will be available next year with the provision of a new 40,000 sq ft building within which 2-Work plans to operate a floor of flexible suites for businesses.
Tileyard North – the sister site to Tileyard London – has established itself as a home for musicians, producers, artists, and various other creative professionals.
It provides space for emerging talents with recording studios, creative workspace and an array of amenities tailored for its target occupants.
2-Work, based in central Leeds, aims to provide flexible, vibrant, and innovative work environments. It offers co-working desks, private offices and meeting rooms aiming to host freelancers, start-ups, and established companies.
Nick Keynes, director of Tileyard North, said: “From the moment I walked into 2-Work’s fantastic Leeds flexible workspace offering I was completely won over by not only their ethos but also the ambience and vibe that they have created.
“Furthermore, 2-Work’s values are absolutely aligned with ours at Tileyard so the cultural fit is absolutely spot on and we cannot wait to start our journey together in Wakefield.”
Gal Leslie, sales and marketing director at 2-Work, added: “The synergies of our businesses were clear from the outset.
“What Nick and the team have created at Tileyard North, and the development of the former Rutland Mill site is incredible.
“We just knew we wanted to be part of it. To have the ability to bring our brands together and deliver something truly exceptional to the Wakefield market is exciting and truly unique.
“Offering flexible options to the wider market, outside of the talent already attracted by Tileyard North, and supplying space that is both best in class and functional is something we are very proud to deliver.”
