Yorkshire Business of the Year shortlist revealed
Fifty businesses have been recognised on the shortlist for the Yorkshire Business of the Year Awards.
The panel of judges, from awards sponsors Clearwater International, CMS, LDC, RBC Brewin Dolphin and Verlingue, faced tough choices following a large number of high quality entries reflecting the very best of Yorkshire’s business community.
Shortlisted companies will shortly be invited to make presentations to the judges in January at a venue in Leeds, after which the winners in each category will be selected. The winners will be announced at a gala event at The Queen’s Hotel, Leeds, on Thursday 29 February.
Representatives from sponsors and TheBusinessDesk.com visited every entrant over three months, grading each on their strategy and finances, their people management, commitment to excellence, and their ESG policies.
TheBusinessDesk.com Yorkshire editor Andrew Staples said, “I want to congratulate every firm, and every individual, who has made it onto the shortlist – and commiserate those who have not. The judging process this year is extremely rigorous, and the judges have faced difficult decisions even while selecting the shortlist.
“I have made several site visits to entrants myself, and without exception have been impressed by the passion and drive of our business leaders.”
