Hardy Fisher holds open day to mark launch of new data centre

Hardy Fisher Services is marking the launch of its next-generation data centre in Leeds by inviting people to tour the site on Thursday 21 March.

The Tier 3 Leeds Data Centre, developed in partnership with international data centre expert AtlasEdge, is the most advanced in the area.

The site, a short distance from Leeds city centre,  is close to all carrier networks which, combined with the substantial infrastructure overhaul, now offers the perfect colocation facility for businesses in Yorkshire.

The centre also has ready physical accessibility via multiple routes, including the M621, and access to the M1, M62 and A1.

AtlasEdge committed to a multi-million-pound investment to ensure every aspect of the facility is extensively transformed and modernised via a range of all-encompassing, state-of-the-art upgrades and enhancements that offer reliability, connectivity, efficiency, and security.

 The facility’s state-of-the-art intake substation, upgraded transformer, and switchgear can provide uninterrupted performance even during a power outage.

Safety measures include the latest smoke detectors, fire suppression capabilities, flood defences, unbeatable access control and security systems to ensure data and equipment is safeguarded.
