Former Skybet chief executive Richard Flint to speak at entrepreneurs lunch
Entrepreneur, angel investor and philanthropist Richard Flint will be the guest speaker at our Entrepreneur Networking Lunch in Leeds on Tuesday 19 March.
As chief executive of Sky Betting and Gaming between 2006 and 2018 he guided the firm from around 100 employees to more than 1,700.
Under his leadership, the company achieved an £800m spin-out from Sky and subsequently, a £3.4bn acquisition by The Stars Group, later acquired by Flutter Entertainment plc.
Since then Richard has become an angel investor, supporting several start-ups and scale-ups.
He is an investor and chairman in leading European dog food business Butternut Box, ticket marketplace Seat Unique, and indoor cycle studio Ryde, which plans to expand into Manchester from its Leeds base.
And as a philanthropist he supports the work of the Leeds Community Foundation, which helps support more than 200 community organisations.
Join us to hear Richard’s insights into growing and building businesses, and how businesses can give back to their communities. Book your tickets here.
