Property people: Town Centre Securities; Beal Homes; and more

Leeds and London-based property investment and development company, Town Centre Securities PLC (TCS), has appointed Jacob Ziff as associate director of investment.

Jacob, who joins from investment brokerage firm Clifton Agency, will focus on creating a strategy for property investment and to assist managing the existing TCS property portfolio.

After graduating from the University of Leeds in 2019, he joined West End-based CWM, where he worked in retail agency and lease restructuring, gaining invaluable experience predominantly acting for various occupier clients.

Following his tenure in retail agency, he moved across to Clifton Agency, where he focused on UK-wide commercial real estate capital markets.

Last year, Jacob also completed a Master’s degree in Real Estate Investment & Finance and the IPF Diploma at the University of Reading.

He said: “I am honoured to follow in the footsteps of my family by joining TCS. It’s a tremendous opportunity to continue the growth and success of the business and I am eager to leverage my skills and experience to create a new investment strategy and enhance the existing property portfolio.”

Beal Homes has appointed an experienced senior executive from national housebuilder Taylor Wimpey as its new sales and marketing director.

Ross Clarkson is joining Beal to lead the next phase of sales growth for the regional housebuilder.

He is currently sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, a position he has held for the past five years, with overall responsibility for the sales and marketing function.

Previously, Clarkson was Yorkshire sales director for Bellway Homes, while he also has strong experience with independent housebuilders, having been sales manager for Yorkshire-based Ben Bailey Homes

He began his career as a sales graduate with Miller Homes Yorkshire.

Clarkson, who lives in Doncaster, is is due to join Beal this summer and will succeed the current sales and marketing director, Sue Waudby, who is retiring.

Family-run Beal is an independent housebuilder operating across Hull, East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Regional housebuilder, Banks Homes, is continuing to expand its senior management team after recruiting Aisling Ramshaw as its new head of sales and marketing.

She brings more than 25 years’ experience to her new role, which involves driving sales at the family firm’s growing portfolio of residential developments and setting the standards of customer service delivered by her team in their dealings with customers.

She has worked in senior roles for a number of developers, housebuilders and estate agents in northern England and Scotland during her career, and was most recently sales and marketing director for a major national housebuilder.

As well as being a qualified surveyor, Ramshaw is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and holds qualifications in marketing strategy and planning from the IE Business School.

She said: “The people side of the residential property industry has always held the greatest appeal for me, and my career has been focused on ensuring that customers have the best possible experience as they make what are likely to be the biggest purchases of their lives.

“This involves designing and implementing detailed processes and services that ensure that they get just that, and supporting sales teams to enable them to deliver everything that these customers need from them.
