World-class tennis returns with LTA’s Lexus Ilkley Trophy

The LTA’s Lexus Ilkley Trophy returns to the Ilkley Lawn Tennis Club from 15 – 22 June.

The tournament brings some of the world’s best male and female tennis players together on the club’s stunning grass courts as they prepare for Wimbledon.

Stars who have recently taken part in the event include current World No.3 Danill Medvedev, former Wimbledon men’s doubles champion Jack Sock and Olympic gold medalist Belinda Bencic. Current WTA No.20 Emma Navarro was the top seed last year in the women’s event.

The LTA’s Lexus Ilkley Trophy is the biggest tennis tournament in the North of England and is an unmissable week of live sport in a picturesque location. The event not only showcases some of the best in tennis today, but also inspires the next generation of tennis stars.

Sports fans from across West Yorkshire and further afield flock to Ilkley for a fantastic day out of live sport, socialising, food, drink and entertainment. The event is also immensely popular with the business committee. A luxury hospitality offer allows for networking and socialising with a backdrop of live sport.

Ilkley’s proximity to Leeds – with a half-hourly train service – makes it easy to reach. Whether it is for business or pleasure, or a combination of the two, the Ilkley Trophy brings a touch of Wimbledon to West Yorkshire.
