Brand agency strengthens its market position through an acquisition

Tomoro, a brand growth agency based in Leeds, has acquired Wool Digital, a web design and development agency in Manchester.

The deal increases Tomoro’s headcount to over 20 staff and boosts its turnover projection for 2024-2025 to more than £1.5m.

This strategic acquisition is designed to enhance the agency’s service offerings, enabling the combined business to deliver comprehensive digital solutions, including advanced web design, cutting-edge development, and innovative marketing strategies. Clients can expect an expanded range of services.

Philip Crampton, partner at Tomoro Agency, said: “Integrating Wool Digital into the Tomoro Agency ecosystem is a momentous step in our growth strategy.

“This acquisition not only amplifies our team’s capabilities but also broadens our technical prowess in web design and development.

“With Wool Digital’s specialised expertise, we are uniquely positioned to drive transformative digital solutions for our clients throughout Europe and beyond.”

David Dowdall, founder of Wool Digital, added: “Joining forces with Tomoro Agency is a fantastic opportunity for us.

“Our shared vision and combined resources will enable us to provide unparalleled service to our clients. We are excited about the future and the innovative solutions we can create together.”

The integration of Wool Digital’s talented team and portfolio is already underway.

Having collaborated for over two years, both agencies say they are positioned to merge operations smoothly.
