Fast food specialist spark bought by ambitious investor
A specialist electrical business from St Helens which services catering equipment for McDonalds, Burger King, Subway, Taco Bell and KFC has been sold to a private investor.
JAC Electrical Services UK has been bought by Sarfraz Khan, a private investor and a partner in Bradford business advisory firm Isaacs Accountants.
The sellers are John and Jeanette Crooks who started the business in 2006.
Sarfraz Khan says he wants to “build on the solid foundations and rich legacy established by John and the rest of the team”, and aims to transform the company into a dominant regional player in the food servicing market.
“I am thrilled to embark on this new journey with JAC, a company with a robust legacy and a talented team,” he said.
“We are committed to maintaining the high standards of service that JAC is known for and to nurturing the company’s relationships with its valued customers.”
He said he plans to invest in new technologies and sustainable practices to expand the company’s capabilities, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of the industry.
John and Jeanette expressed their confidence in the new owner’s vision for the company. “We are pleased to hand over the reins to someone who shares our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction,” they said. “We believe that JAC is in capable hands and will continue to thrive under the new leadership.”

Steve Alcock, KBS Corporate Deal Executive, who oversaw the sale, said the transaction had been concluded to the satisfaction of all parties. “The client was very happy with the overall deal and could see the buyer would look after the business and staff moving forward,” said Steve.
