Competitive socialising brand poised to open its 12th venue

Retro arcade game & classic console venue, NQ64, has officially confirmed its newest venue which will open in Leeds.
Launching at the end of summer on 11 Merrion St (previously home to Manahatta), the drinking den promises to bring all things retro to the city.
People will be able to enjoy cocktails and craft beers while playing a range of arcade machines, pinball and classic consoles to the sounds of a DJ.
They will dive into beloved classics such as Pac-Man, Mario Kart, Guitar Hero, Time Crisis, and Point Blank.
The 5,000 sq ft venue marks the brand’s 12th site opening and will create 20 jobs for the area.
It has a capacity of over 250, with further space available to use which will form part of a phase two opening at a later date.
It will also feature an outdoor seating area for the warmer months, a hidden private area, bookable seating throughout the venue, and the NQ64 “Wall Boy” which elevates the game boy to a large screen.
Matt Robson and Andy Haygarth, directors at NQ64, said: “We’ve been eyeing up a site in Leeds for a while now, so when the space on Merrion Street came up we were very keen to make it happen.
“The venue has loads of rooms for our fan favourite games and should suit the way we like guests to experience our offering perfectly.
“We’re looking forward to the launch already, celebrating a new opening is not something we take for granted.”
The venue will be serving game-themed signature cocktails including the Kong Island Iced Tea (Absolut vodka, El Jimador tequila, Beefeater gin, Wray & Nephew rum, Caribbean pineapple, tea & sour peach), and the Mad Max Zombie (house rum blend, grapefruit, pineapple, guava, orange, cherry, & cinnamon fire).
And there will be an extensive offering of craft beers, wines, spirits, sodas and non-alcoholic cocktails, as well as old-school childhood favourite snacks such as Space Raiders and Monster Munch.
