Medical device consultancy sets its sights on headcount and revenue growth

A Huddersfield-based medical device and In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) consultancy is poised for further expansion as it marks its fifth anniversary this month.
LFH Regulatory, which specialises in the field of regulatory, quality and clinical affairs, was founded in 2019 by Laura Friedl-Hirst.
The business helps clients navigate the complex regulatory landscape of the global medical device industry, making the process of regulation and compliance as simple and stress-free as possible.
In the wake of Brexit, the company notes that regulatory requirements for bringing medical devices to market in the UK have become increasingly challenging.
Since it was founded the firm has expanded from a one-woman operation to a team of six, with two additional members set to join in the coming months.
Friedl-Hirst said: “In just five years, it’s been amazing to see the company grow so much.
“Given our size and the passion our team brings to the table, there’s so much more opportunity for where we can get to, and we’re very eager to see where it takes us.
“Ideally, we’d love to double the size of our team and expand our client base significantly. We’re also aiming to boost our revenue as we take on new and exciting projects so we can continue to build on the strong foundation we’ve established.”
