Professional services firm cuts ribbon on new offices

Professional services firm Aon has opened its new offices in Hull.

Kingston Upon Hull West and Haltemprice MO Emma Hardy cut the ribbon on the new premises in Redcliff Court, which will be home to 50 staff.

Aon, which employs around 50,000 people worldwide, has agreed a five-year lease for the entire ground floor of Redcliff Court.

The move is part of Aon’s investment in the region and brings the whole Humber-based team together in one space.

Hardy said: “Congratulations to Aon on the opening of their new flexible workspace here in Hull. Flexible working is incredibly important to building a diverse and happy workforce. I’m pleased that Aon have made this investment in Hull and are tapping into the incredible talent we have in our region.”

Chris Harvey, head of office for Aon in Hull, said: “The investment in flexible, fully serviced facilities is a step forward for the business and the Humber team. This is part of a strategic move to support Aon’s flexible working culture and our growth ambition for the Humber region.

“The new, modern office better accommodates our knowledgeable and experienced team of client directors, client service advisors and claim advisors so that they can deliver the best service for our clients and it provides ample space for future expansion.

“The move also cements our position within Hull’s thriving business community and demonstrates Aon’s commitment to our Humber clients, who benefit from having a local team that is supported by a regional, national and international network of colleagues.”

The team was previously split between the upper floor of Redcliff Court and Lanark House, Schiphol Way in Kirmington.
