Six-figure angel investment for equestrian specialist

Equiseat Aid, a Ripon-based equestrian company dedicated to helping riders improve their balance and posture, has revealed its first round of angel investment.
The brand has secured over £100,000 from Lars Letonoff, a technology executive and former president and chief revenue officer at KnowBe4.
It will provide the funding necessary to support the North Yorkshire company’s growth and development.
The investment will be instrumental in accelerating product research and development, enhancing marketing outreach and solidifying Equiseat Aid’s position in the equestrian market.
With Letonoff also joining the company’s board, Equiseat Aid will benefit from his track record in building and scaling successful global businesses.
Equiseat Aid is a product that helps riders maintain a stable seat and achieve long-term straightness, promoting better rider posture and balance.
Designed for riders of all levels and competing in a wide range of equestrian disciplines, the Equiseat Aid supports the rider and trains good muscle memory, developing the seat, and encouraging riders to take their weight evenly through their stirrups.
Letonoff said: “Equiseat Aid represents a unique opportunity to support a company that’s truly innovating within the equestrian industry.
“Their product has the potential to make a real difference for riders and horses, and I’m thrilled to help them grow and reach their full potential.”
His investment makes him a major shareholder in the business alongside majority shareholders Vickie Dennis (founder of Equiseat Aid), Ruth Schofield and Kate Dennis.
