Fresh chapter for law firm as it relocates to state-of-the-art workspace

Switalskis has relocated its Leeds-based legal teams to West Village on Wellington Street after 15 years at nearby St James House.
The new, modern 3,326 sq ft office at Bruntwood SciTech’s West Village development will support Switalskis’ growth ambitions and enhance working practices and wellbeing.
Previously split over two floors at St James House, the move brings Switalskis’ Leeds-based employees together onto a single floor, enhancing communication and teamwork.
Julie Guest, head of people at the firm, said: “One of our core goals is to be a great place to work, and creating the right office environment is key to achieving that.
“The Leeds office is the first step in a wider review of all our locations and we’re excited to see the positive impact it’s already having.
“A great workplace is more than having a decent desk and chair to work at. This new space encourages interaction and movement, with break out areas and a coffee bar, yoga classes, and a bike store. The feedback from our Leeds team has been hugely positive so far, which we’re delighted with.”
John Durkan, managing director at Switalskis, added: “We’re very excited about the move to West Village, which better reflects who we are today and underscores our long-term commitment to the city.
“Finding a space that would provide a dynamic and stimulating working environment while providing space to grow were crucial to the move.
“We feel we’ve found this at West Village. The office move allows us to collaborate more effectively, improve productivity and employee wellbeing, which will ultimately benefit our clients.”
