Ipsos Karian and Box, the UK employee experience division of global research company Ipsos, which is headquartered in York, has expanded its marketing team by welcoming two senior hires.
Vikkie Buxton Cope and Kate Went join as head of business development and marketing, and marketing and internal communications manager, respectively.
Buxton Cope, based from the Manchester office, joins from employee wellbeing consultancy Robertson Cooper, where she built and led the business development and marketing function over 17 years.
Went, based at the York HQ, previously managed marketing at employee engagement consultancy scarlettabbott for five years, following roles in the legal and construction sectors.
Buxton Cope, who will oversee the newly formed Business Development and Marketing team, bringing together two additional team members, said: “Ipsos Karian and Box have an unrivalled reputation in the employee survey space.
“The academic rigour that unpins the work we do for global clients is industry leading and what we’re well known for.
“But how we help our clients turn that data into action is perhaps our best kept secret and I can’t wait for us to start telling some of the stories behind the stats.”
Louise Breed, UK CEO of Ipsos Karian and Box, added: “Workplace culture is a crucial barometer and getting the employee experience right is fundamental.
“We help our clients navigate these complex challenges every day to deliver the best possible experience for their people.
“I’m excited for us to apply that same passion and commitment to ourselves through the wealth of expertise and experience Vikkie and Kate bring to the team.”

Calbee UK, owner of Bradford-based Seabrook Crisps, has appointed Jon Wood to the position of group managing director, replacing previous MD Daniel Woodwards.
Formerly group commercial director for the company, Wood brings with him more than 14 years’ experience in the business.
Having also worked at Mars for more than six years, his background in FMCG spans more than two decades.
He said: “Our exciting growth plans make this the perfect time to be taking on the MD role.
“Since joining the Calbee group in 2018, we’ve doubled the size of the Seabrook brand and subsequently the UK business through step changing the investment in our brands (both Seabrook and Harvest Snaps) and by expanding the breadth of our product offerings through capital investments in capability and capacity.
“This has enabled Calbee to consistently outperform the category in what has been a highly competitive and challenging market landscape.
“The next phase of our growth is no less ambitious, as we continue to build on the branded gains already made on both Seabrook and Harvest Snaps.
“As we move forward, we will further leverage the huge breadth of innovative product technologies and market-leading brands available to us through the wider Calbee group, with the UK playing a leading role in Calbee’s global growth aspirations.”
