Broadband provider grows its regional footprint
Hull-based fibre network operator MS3 Networks has partnered with internet service provider (ISP) IDNet.
The move is designed to offer increased choice of broadband provider to thousands of homes and businesses across MS3’s network areas of Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Immingham, Cleethorpes and Mexborough.
Founded in 1996 to provide fast, reliable business internet connections, IDNet added home broadband to its offering in the last decade to respond to the demand for high-quality internet for home workers.
In addition to residential and commercial broadband, the Hertfordshire-based ISP also provides leased lines and telephone services.
The partnership with MS3 allows IDNet to offer high-quality, reliable connectivity to homes and businesses across Hull and the Humber by connecting to MS3’s Gigabit-capable network.
The full fibre network has passed 200,000 premises across the region, with MS3 aiming to reach over 535,000 premises by the end of 2025.
Tim Davies, director and co-founder of IDNet, said: “For over 25 years, we’ve ensured our customers can enjoy a reliable, resilient broadband connection.
“Partnering with MS3 is a great opportunity to expand our reach to new homes and businesses, while maintaining the same high-quality service.”
Sam Hales, business development director (B2B) at MS3, added: “Welcoming IDNet to our network is exciting, not only because it increases choice for our customers, but also because they share our commitment to social impact.
“At MS3, we aim to improve the lives of local residents, whether that’s by providing fast and reliable internet through our growing network of ISP partners, or with community partnerships and initiatives.”
