The Leeds agency offering 10 days fertility leave and 26 weeks leave for men and women

A Leeds-based digital agency is leading the way in providing its staff with inclusive family leave options.
Circus PPC has gone above and beyond its statutory requirements by unveiling an ‘industry-leading’ package, which includes 26 weeks fully paid leave regardless of gender or parental role.
The agency partnered with Founder of Access HR, Georgia Dixon, to develop a family leave package that would support and champion employees if they make the decision to start or continue their family, understanding that statutory parental benefits don’t offer anywhere near enough support.
Dixon said “Working with Circus PPC was an absolute pleasure and a real breath of fresh air. They had a clear vision: To go beyond the standard statutory requirements and create an enhanced family leave package that genuinely celebrates this important life moment for both parents. And we achieved just that.
“Their dedication to inclusivity and support sets a remarkable standard for the industry, demonstrating how businesses can genuinely support their employees in today’s modern world. By taking significant steps to prioritise humanity in the employee experience, they’ve crafted a workplace where people feel valued and supported through life’s big transitions.”
The gender-inclusive family leave package includes:
* 26 weeks fully paid leave for all parents, regardless of gender or parental role
* 10 days fertility leave per cycle (up to 3 cycles in any 12-month rolling period)
* ‘Flexi-month’ upon returning to work, allowing returners to work 80% of hours for 100% pay for their first four weeks back at work
* Enhanced parental bereavement and pregnancy loss leave
* £1,000 family expansion bonus
Last month, activists from campaign group, Dad Shift, travelled around central London attaching model babies to statues of men to call for better UK paternity leave policies.
Rick Tobin, Founder and MD at Circus PPC, said of their new policy: “Statutory parental leave doesn’t offer the level of support that we want to provide to our team, and historically, paternity leave and pay is extremely weak.
“By making our family leave policy gender-inclusive, we have extended benefits that are rarely available to non-pregnant parents, those in same-sex relationships, and adopters and co-adopters.”
