Hosts unveiled for the Yorkshire Business of the Year Awards 2025

The hosts have been revealed for our Yorkshire Business of the Year Awards 2025 event this month – they are Ross Fiddes and Emma Jones.

Ross, who is from Leeds, has worked in the television industry for more than a decade and began his onscreen career as a reporter for the Super League Show on BBC One and Two.

In 2022, he then became a regular face of Championship and Challenge Cup Rugby League on Premier Sports & Viaplay alongside Emma.

In the same year, Ross also covered the Rugby League World Cup on the BBC, which saw him front the world feed for the opening ceremony, as well as appearing as Touchline Reporter for games across BBC Two and Three.

More recently, he has become involved with BBC’s Sunday Morning Live as a reporter and is heavily involved with outreach at the BBC; regularly producing and hosting the Bitesize Schools Tour, which visits hundreds of secondary schools across the UK to inspire young people on their futures.

TV presenter Emma is best known for her work as the match day host for Leeds United TV and other presenting roles with the BBC and Premier Sports.

She started working in TV and radio immediately after graduating from University of Staffordshire, freelancing for Channel 5 and Greater Manchester station Key 103.

She worked at Viking FM in Hull for two years before being approached by Leeds United and becoming Signal 1’s breakfast show presenter.

The awards take place at New Dock Hall, Leeds, on Thursday 20 February. Click here for tickets.
