Acquisition secures future of business advisers

Fortus has acquired accountants and business advisers Charles Stewart & Co in a move to enhance its presence in Leeds.

Fortus, which has seven offices across the UK, said the acquisition will boost its compliance capabilities and provide a firm foundation for further growth in the city.

Craig Herbert, group CEO of Fortus, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome and integrate the talented Charles Stewart & Co team to Fortus.

Fortus said the acquisition caps off another excellent year with revenues expected to £10m in 2026.
