Supercar club opens up events calendar to non-members

WEST Yorkshire’s only supercar club ècurie25 has opened up its calendar of club events to non-members.

The Leeds-based club aims to give car enthusiasts the thrill and excitement of driving the ultimate supercars without the worry of high costs and the hassle of ownership.

ècurie25 offers a host of driving experiences which this year include VIP Grand Prix trips, UK and European road rallies and a series of track days.

Club director Paul Brown said: “The events calendar has been a feature of ècurie25 since the club launched in London four years ago and every year it has got bigger and better. For 2010 we looked at the various events and thought that they provided ideal opportunities for non-members to get a taste for the club by getting behind the wheel of an array of our cars and mixing with some of our existing members.”

The first road rally is a two-night outing in June that takes in the best roads in Yorkshire, the Lakes and Scotland and includes five star accommodation, Michelin star food, a whisky tasting tour and spa sessions.

In September the world famous Nurburgring in Germany is the focal point of a trip that will see attendees drive through England, France, Belgium and Germany in a fleet of different supercars before tackling the ring.

There are also VIP trips to the Monaco, British and Abu Dhabi Grand Prixs, a driving trip from Barcelona to the Ascari race track in the south of Spain and a visit to the Paris Motorshow.

Mr Brown said: “For anyone who loves cars attending any one of these events would be an absolute thrill, so we feel that by extending the opportunity to attend beyond our membership we are giving more people the chance to fulfil their driving dreams in the company of a number of like-minded individuals.”

Prices range from £1,500 for track days to £8,500 for the Ascari trip in Spain. For the full timetable of events and to find out more visit http://www.ecurie25.co.uk/events-e25.aspx
