PATENT and trade mark attorneys Appleyard Lees has expanded its Leeds office.
Trade mark attorney Heather Williams advises on the full range of trade mark law and practice and has represented a range of national and international clients in respect of the management of their trade mark portfolios ranging from food manufacturers, pharmaceuticals, financial services and FMCGs.

ILKLEY Brewery has appointed Luke Raven, one of the founders of Sandinista bar in Leeds, as part of its plans to reach new markets with its craft ale.
Brewery operative Mr Raven will become heavily involved in beer making at the Ashlands Road premises but he will also be tasked with increasing Ilkley Brewery’s online presence through its blog and social networks.
He will also be working alongside the Mary Jane brewers to develop craft-keg beer products which will complement the brewery’s celebrated cask-conditioned beers.

A WELL known North Yorkshire restaurant has recruited a new head chef.
Aaron Craig has taken on the role at the five star Yorebridge House in the village of Bainbridge, Wensleydale.
Mr Craig has worked in restaurants for over ten years at venues including Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck in Bray, Solberge Hall near Northallerton and the Otter and Fish in Hurworth near Darlington.

ENERGY experts Bergen Energi has added further experience to its customer support team by appointing Linda Mitchell.
Ms Mitchell will be based in the Leeds office and has experience within the business energy market having spent five years working for Yorkshire NPower in commercial energy sales and a further two years at a large energy broker.
She will be the first point of contact for many of Bergen Energi’s customers and will support the account managers with energy contract tendering and administration.
