Mixed use project gets go-ahead in city
YORKSHIRE-BASED Landmark Development Projects has secured planning permission for a five-acre mixed-use scheme in Bradford.
Permission has been granted for 50 homes and a development of six light industrial warehouses on Burnham Avenue in the city.
The units will range from 1,500 sq ft to 8,286 sq ft, although one single unit up to 50,000 sq ft could be developed if an occupier is sought for this option.
Iain McPhail, principal surveyor at leading UK property consultant GVA Grimley, said: “This is an exciting development for Bradford and will bring a good mixture of residential and high specification industrial units which will be available on a lease or purchase basis.
“There is a high demand for commercial space of this kind especially as the development is flexible. We can build bespoke industrial space for occupiers from 1,500 up to 50,000 sq ft – it’s a great opportunity for Bradford. “

The site is located off the M606 via the A6177 and is approximately 2.5 miles south of Bradford city centre.
GVA Grimley and Hayfield Robinson are advising Landmark Development Projects on the commercial element.
