National recognition for Allerton and Dine

THE Dine at Allerton team is celebrating after being named regional winner in Wedding TV’s Best of British Wedding Venues.

The TV channel devoted a series to touring the nation’s most beautiful and desirable wedding venues and listed Allerton second in the whole of the country and a winner regionally.

The success is particularly noteworthy given the devastating fire which all but destroyed the venue, located half way between Harrogate and York, in 2005.

Dr Rolph and the Rolph Foundation have since spent several million on the restoration of this important example of a Victorian Gothic Castle and business has never been stronger.

Daniel Gill, managing director of Dine, said: “We are extremely proud of the service that we provide and can manage everything from concept to completion, which ensures that each wedding is as unique as the bride and groom themselves.

“Allerton Castle is fully deserving of this accolade and truly is one of the most special wedding venues in the country.”

Claudie Ineson, senior venue and events manager at Allerton, said; “This is a great recognition of the sheer commitment, which Allerton has made to looking after our clients and creating one of the most sought-after events venues in the UK.”

The award comes hot on the heels of Dine’s latest venture, The Mansion, winning two awards.

The Mansion has also been shortlisted in the RICS awards to be held in Leeds this May.

Established 1998, Dine offers catering and event management to the corporate sector, weddings and private parties.

The firm also offers a total event management from concept to delivery including invitations, venue, catering, décor and theming, entertainments, sound and light, and is the first company of its kind in Yorkshire to be granted membership of the International Special Events Society.
