Designer first for Sudo Attire

SUDO Attire has been given exclusive rights to stock world renowned designer Karl Lagerfield’s suits and casual wear in Harrogate for the first time.

The deal sees Lagerfeld join a selection of other high-profile designer brands that have handed exclusivity to the store in recent months including Carlo Visconti, William Hunt of Saville Row and Without Prejudice.

Sudo Attire’s designer brands also include celebrity favourite ‘Without Prejudice’, which provides suits for BBC programmes Spooks and the Hustle.

Film fans will be able to follow in the footsteps of actor Daniel Craig who models the exclusive range of William Hunt suits from the latest James Bond films.

The Harrogate-based menswear business has achieved these exclusive contracts in its first year of trading and despite the recession, which has hit many retailers hard.

As a result of negotiating these contracts, Sudo Attire will be able to build on its regional customer base, bringing Saville Row to Station Parade offering a range of goods previously unavailable outside London.

Owner and chief fashion buyer Mark Lane said: “I realised that there was a gap in the market for exclusive high-end menswear in Harrogate and I am delighted to be able to bring the finest quality UK and Italian tailoring to the region for the first time.

“Now customers won’t have to travel to Leeds or London to sample these world famous brand names.”

The new brands are in stock now and will be available alongside existing menswear brands such as Armani Collezioni, Kenzo, Gian Carlo Rossi and Christian Dior.
