Clean fuel pioneers have high hopes for conferences

ITM Power, the energy storage and green fuel company, is hoping to wow delegates at international hydrogen conferences with its innovative products.
The Sheffield-based firm will showcase its suite of electrolyser products at Hannover Messe in Germany and the NHA Hydrogen conference and expo in Long Beach in California.
The products are designed for a range of applications from laboratory-based analytical systems through soldering and joining to clean fuel provision for hydrogen powered vehicles.
Each product has been designed to be simple to use and to require a minimum of maintenance.
ITM Power’s chief executive Dr Graham Cooley said: “We are delighted to be specifying the performance of our first range of products for launch at the key 2010 hydrogen trade shows in April and May.
ITM Power has developed a range of materials and technology to reduce the cost of hydrogen production.
The company is developing equipment to convert renewable energy to a clean fuel; storing the energy as green hydrogen for decarbonising transport, industrial and residential applications.
