Enkanhz revs up for growth with deal

AN accident and repair car customisation business has acquired an industrial development in Yorkshire.

Bradford-based Enkahnz has purchased Cuckoo Industrial Estate in Bradford from a private investor for just under £1m and become anchor tenant at the estate.

The company has rented the largest unit at the development site since 2007 and the acquisition will allow it to make substantial progress in enhancing its workshop, installing a new training academy and undertaking further product development.

Enkahnz was established by Naveez Khan in 2003.

Mr Khan is looking for the business to occupy the whole Cuckoo Nest estate within the next five to seven years, after diversifying into new markets.

The company is also considering a new production facility, as well as a training programme for 16 to 24 year-olds.

Simon Mydlowski, commercial property solicitor at Gordons, advised EnKahnz on the deal.

Mr Mydlowski said: “We’re delighted to have played such a key role in helping the business past this important milestone in its history.

“The purchase was vital, as it has put the company in a position to fulfil its long-term aims and, now the deal is complete, I expect to see EnKahnz continue its rapid success well into the future.”
