THE State of the Region survey, from TheBusinessDesk.com, is your chance to make your voice heard on the issues that matter to you and your business.

TheBusinessDesk.com is delighted to be running this milestone project in association with our lead sponsor, law firm DLA Piper, and which is also supported by accountancy group PwC and the CBI.

Many businesses, across all sectors, are uncertain about what the future holds as public spending is cut and access to finance for growth is proving hard to come by.

We want to paint a true picture of the economic landscape and what it’s like for you to run a business in this region.

Your answers matter and knowing how time is precious for those running businesses, we have made the survey quick and simple – it will take you no more than three minutes to complete.

We will be running a series of stories on the survey results from each of our Yorkshire, North West and West Midlands regions in the New Year and comparing the findings from the three.

In addition, we will be identifying the important issues that matter to the region’s firms and then lobbying on their behalf for the changes they want to see happen in the future, as well as comparing the results from this year’s survey to one TheBusinessDesk.com ran last year.
