Tenants in at Park 2000

THE Park 2000 business park has welcomed two new tenants to South leeds.

Pre-stressed concrete firm CCL and Harrison Spinks, a bed manufacturer, have both taken units at the business park off Dewsbury Road.

CCL has invested in a 35,000 sq ft warehouse while Harrison Spinks has added a 23,000 sq ft unit to its property holdings in the area.

Iain McPhail, associate at GVA, said: “We are pleased that we could facilitate the expansion of these two Leeds-based companies who have worked closely together to mutually benefit from upgraded premises.

“It was by no means a simple deal and it is satisfying to see local firms performing so well in what are still challenging times.”

Adam Peacock, industrial and logistics agent at Lambert Smith Hampton, which acted for the vendor, said: “The two deals represent a huge boost for Leeds, and Park 2000 in particular.

“It is positive to see that some companies are pressing ahead with expansion plans in the face of adverse market conditions, and goes to show that there is still an appetite for well located, modern, high quality industrial buildings within the Leeds area.”
