Latest appointments: WorldEvents adds to Dutch team; Licensing specialist welcomes new solicitor; and more

WorldEvents, which is headquartered in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, has appointed Annemarie den Broeder to the agency’s Amsterdam office as senior account manager.

Ms den Broeder is an experienced account manager who has more than 11 years experience in the event management industry.

She has worked for Talking Point (now BCD), THA and Banks Sadler, as well as having previously worked for WorldEvents for two years.

Her role will involve building on the success achieved in the past two and a half years by the EU team, which has seen the numbers in the Dutch office grow to 14.

Her brief will be to help take the business on to its next stage of its growth. As part of her remit, she will be heavily involved in global client and new client business development, particularly in the Benelux region.

Mr Hyldon brings with him a wealth of experience and contacts having worked exclusively in the licensing sector for the past eight years.

John Gaunt & Partners deal solely in licensing and entertainment, gambling and regulatory matters.

It was established in 1995 to provide a dedicated, cost effective service to meet the needs of those active in the leisure industry both in the on and off licence trade and the gambling industry.

Clarion's debt recovery teamLEGAL firm Clarion, based in Leeds, has appointed Daniel Carlton as manager in its growing debt recovery team.

Mr Carlton has more than 20 years’ experience advising and developing debt collection and credit control services for a variety of clients from sole traders to Plcs.

Over the last 10 years, he has specialised in advising the leisure industry and has worked with some of the major pub groups developing specialist debt recovery systems for the commercial landlord.

He has also worked closely with a number of road hauliers, building contractors and retailers to maximise recoveries and increase cash flows.

Clarion’s debt recovery team focuses exclusively on debt recovery acting for commercial and consumer organisations as well as local authorities throughout the UK.
