Positive start for Ashworth Law

A LAW firm has created 34 jobs after opening in Harrogate.

Since its launch, Ashworth Law is handling instructions from 4,000 new clients a month and has recovered more than £15m for clients mis-sold financial policies.
 
Ashworth Law, founded by Mathew Cobley and Adrian Holey, is based in the town’s Grove Park Court and operates in two fields of expertise.

‘Ashworth For You’ specialises in civil litigation, family law and personal injury, while ‘Ashworth for Business’ is dedicated to debt management, debt collection, financial claims and corporate benefits.

Mr Cobley said: “At Ashworth Law we offer a broad range of legal services and are committed to delivering an excellent client-focused service with an emphasis on obtaining good outcomes and value for money.

“Even though we are a young company, our clients range from private individuals to multi-national companies. We are currently acting for more than 4,000 clients a month.”

The firm also works for scores of individual claims-management companies, representing clients who believe they may have been mis-sold financial policies.

Mr Cobley added: “We are now looking at establishing offices outside the region which will help spread the Ashworth Law name to new clients, both corporate and private.”
