Summit strikes Gulf partnership

A TRAINING company from West Yorkshire is helping to educate future managers in the Gulf.
Summit Consulting and Training, based in Greetland, has agreed an exclusive partnership with Saudi Arabian firm KNZ Learning & Training to deliver a series of development programmes for managers and corporate leaders.
Scott Watson, founder and managing director of Summit, said: “The standard of corporate management development in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region
varies significantly, and our partnership with KNZ will help to address that issue and create a more level playing field for aspiring managers of the future.
“The major problem in the management education sector is that training and development programmes are usually bought off the shelf – a kind of ‘one size fits all’ approach.
“We specialise in bespoke solutions that reflect individual needs, business priorities and company aspirations. You achieve a far greater return on investment
this way, and the growing demand for our services over three-thousand miles away from our home market proves we’re adopting the right approach.”
He addded: “Our international operation currently equates to approximately 40% of our total turnover, and with our ongoing commitment to exporting, it may well dwarf our domestic income in years to come.”
The company has been working closely with UK Trade and Investment to expand its global operations.
UKTI International trade advisor Brian Aungiers said: “Summit is a great example of a local company that is achieving international acclaim through the strength of its bespoke services and solutions.
“Scott and his team have tremendous drive and ambition, and their success to date in the Arabian Gulf region bodes extremely well for the future.”
