Williams joins Walker Morris from Hammonds

HAMMONDS litigation partner David Williams is crossing Leeds to join rival law firm Walker Morris.

Mr Williams is joining the commercial dispute resolution team at Walker Morris taking the number of partners to three.

Mr Williams was at Hammonds for more than 20 years and has a background in trade and international cases, corporate and fraud matters as well as financial and regulatory issues.

Gwendoline Davies, partner and head of commercial dispute resolution at Walker Morris, said: “David’s decision to leave his current post and join us adds significant additional resource to the team and sends out a clear signal to the market about our ambition.

The commercial dispute resolution team is part of Walker Morris’s litigation group which is one of the largest outside London.
