Fashion store moo-ves into Leeds

A MOTHER and daughter owned business has opened its second shop in Yorkshire.

Moo has taken space in the Corn Exchange in Leeds, adding to the first store in Barnsley launched by Clare Bottomley and daugher Holly Gaunt three years ago.

The company designs makes and sells clothing and accessories as well as sourcing goods from regional independent designers.

Mrs Bottomley said: “We pride ourselves on being specialists in Yorkshire design and materials which sets us apart from many other high street retailers.

“We are really looking forward to becoming a regular stop for all the fashion forward women in Leeds who are looking for something  special or bespoke, and with our new children’s range, our customers are often mothers and daughters too: it’s a real family affair.”

The company was launched with two machinists and one in-house designer and now employs 12 people across the two sites.
