600 Group unveils new CEO

FORMER Stadium Group chief executive Nigel Rogers is to take over at the head of 600 Group.

His appointment follows the decision of current 600 Group chief executive David Norman to retire.

Mr Norman said: “Having led the company from the loss making period of 2008/9 back to producing an underlying profit during the last two years, I believe that it is now an appropriate time for me to stand down and hand the reins over.”

Mr Rogers, 50, led electronic manufacturing services company Stadium Group for more than a decade, stepping down in September last year.

In a statement, Leeds-based 600 Group said Mr Rogers would bring “considerable experience in international business development, mergers and acquisitions and the strategic direction of diversified industrial groups”.

Chairman Paul Dupee said: “The board would like to thank David for his contribution to the restructuring of the group and to welcome Nigel, whose significant experience will be key in driving the future growth of our operations both in the UK and internationally.”
