Entries open for Finance Director of the Year Awards
ELITE finance directors from across the region are to be celebrated at the 2012 Yorkshire Finance Director of the Year Awards.
The awards, which are in their thirteenth year in Yorkshire, are sponsored by global professional services firm Ernst & Young, Sewell Recruitment Group and global legal practice Squire Sanders.
TheBusinessDesk.com is media partner for the awards, which will be held at a black tie dinner at Rudding Park, Harrogate, on September 19.
The awards are judged on all round commercial and managerial skills, including interpersonal qualities and business acumen, as well as the more traditional technical accounting and financial skills.
Entries for the awards are now open and judging will take place over the summer.
The 2012 awards categories are:
• Best FD of a Ltd company (under £50m turnover)
• Best FD of a Ltd company (over £50m turnover)
• Best FD of a plc
• Young FD of the Year (up to 40 years of age)
• Best FD of a private equity-backed business
• Outstanding achievement award
